The Winona Arts Center presents bluesy folk musician, Cam Waters, this Friday January 5th at 7pm following a photography reception with James A. Bowey. Waters has spent the last twenty-odd years crisscrossing the country and honing his unique style of inventive fingerstyle and slide guitar playing. His literate, tradition-based songwriting mixes seamlessly with his arrangements of rural blues, jug band songs, and American folk music. He has appeared in concert with Doc Watson, Dave Van Ronk, Maria Muldaur, Greg Brown, Spider John Koerner and many more.
Seattle's Victory Review praises, "Cam's rich, smooth voice and his cleanly intricate and melodic fingerpicking make these songs a real treat in solo performance, too. If you have a chance to see this Minnesota based songwriter live, don't miss it!" Come early for art and refreshments, both events are free and open to the public. The Winona Arts Center is located at 5th & Franklin.
