Wednesday, December 29

•At 2:24 p.m. police responded to a call from Peerless Chain Company on East Sanborn Street reporting a gun case found on a loading dock. Inside was a Ruger .22 and a pellet gun component. Police said the items had been stolen from Buffalo County, Wis.

Thursday, December 30

•At 3 a.m. police saw fireworks shot off and heard yelling coming from an apartment on the 1750 block of West Seventh Street. Taura Lashea Armour, 32, of Winona, was cited for obstruction and hosting a loud party. Tiffany Lee Mitchell, 28, of Goodview, was cited for failure to leave a loud party. Police said that Armour initially refused to identify herself, but that she then called dispatch to report police were harassing her and identified herself over the phone.

Wednesday, December 29

•At 10:39 p.m. police stopped a vehicle for speeding at Highway 61 and Highway 14. The driver, Charles Allen Hale, 44, of Hastings, Minn., appeared intoxicated and was cited for driving while intoxicated, test refusal and speeding. Police said he refused to take a blood alcohol test.
