The city of Goodview held its first Farmers Market on Thursday, July 27, at the Elks Lodge near Highway 61. Vegetable growers, flower vendors, canned goods sellers, a wood-fired pizza food truck, and Winona musician Greg Taylor (pictured) turned out for the first market. “A Farmers Market brings people together from all parts,” said Goodview City Administrator Dan Matejka. “We wanted to draw people to Goodview,” he added. Markets will be held every Thursday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Elk’s Lodge parking lot, 4540 Service Drive, in Goodview. The market is on Facebook at Goodview Farmers Market. People interested in becoming a vendor may contact the market’s organizers at 507-452-1630 or email@example.com for more information.
