Student Senate, Culture of Life, Page Theatre, Student Activities Committee, Black Students and Allies, GSD-SAFE, and ICAA are hosting a full week of events, beginning on February 2 in honor of Multicultural Week 2018.
On Monday, February 5,
at 7 p.m., speaker Matt Glowacki will host a discussion on “Diversity According to ‘Family Guy’ and ‘South Park’,” in the Science and Learning Center, room 200. This event is sponsored by Student Activities Committee.
On Tuesday, February 6,
at 7:30 p.m., a Unity in Diversity movie, “Detroit,” will show in the Science and Learning Center, room 200. This showing is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities.
On Wednesday, February 7,
at 6:30 p.m., “First Daughter and the Black Snake,” a part of Frozen River Film Festival, will show in Salvi Lecture Hall. At 7 p.m., Campus Ministry is sponsoring the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir to perform at Saint Thomas More Chapel.
On Thursday, February 8,
at 5:30 p.m., come see the musical act 1st Klass, Cardinal Club, sponsored by the Student Activities Committee. Then, at
6:30 p.m., enjoy Frozen River Film Festival: Short Films.
On Friday, February 9,
from 5:30-7:30 p.m., the International Food Fest will be at Toner Student Center in the dining room. After dinner, at 8 p.m., get ready for a multicultural variety show.
