Mid West Music Fest (MWMF), in partnership with Hy-vee Wine & Spirits and Leighton Broadcasting, will host a craft beer tasting and silent auction on Saturday, March 3, from 7-9 p.m. at the Winona County History Center, 160 Johnson Street, Winona. The cost for the event is $20 in advance and $25 at the door and includes samples of beer from both local and nationally recognized brewers, hors d’oeuvres and live music. Some of the breweries represented include local breweries such as Winona’s Island City Brewery, Rollingstone’s Olvalde Farm and La Crescent’s Hoch Orchards and well as larger breweries such as Surly, Bent Paddle and Lagunitas. A silent auction will allow attendees to bid on a wide selection of items and experiences generously donated in support of MWMF, to be held on April 27-28 in Winona and on April 13-14 in La Crosse. Come ready to try some new beers and bid in support of Mid West Music Fest. Tickets may be purchased in advance by going to www.midwestmusicfest.org and clicking “events.”
