Bruno Borsari and Fred Krause install a honeybee nucleolus within the ERC Community Garden.

During spring/summer 2017 the city of Winona built a community garden at the East Recreation Center (ERC), which produced both happy gardeners and bountiful harvests. In an effort to further increase pollination within the garden and surrounding area as well as play a small role (even if just through education) in combatting the national decline of bees, the city of Winona Park and Recreation Department and ERC has introduced pollinators to the location!
