A man was airlifted to an Eau Claire, Wis., hospital after he was ejected from his vehicle following a collision on State Road 93 in Arcadia.
According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:56 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, a Ford Ranger pickup was traveling northbound on State Road 93 when the vehicle stopped, waiting for southbound traffic to pass before turning onto a driveway. A second truck traveling northbound reportedly collided with the Ranger and pushed it into oncoming traffic.
A third truck, traveling southbound, reportedly struck the Ranger, and the driver of the Ranger was ejected from the vehicle.
He was flown to an Eau Claire hospital for the treatment of unknown injuries.
The driver, whose name was not given by the Sheriff’s Office, of the northbound truck was cited for inattentive driving. The incident is still under investigation.
