In the February 13 edition of the Winona Post, it was erroneously stated that the Winona Area Public Schools (WAPS) had proposed moving fourth graders to the high school; it should have stated middle school. The January 20 edition stated that preliminary information showed WAPS’ four-year graduation rate was 60.9 percent. This was based on a miscalculation in the district’s initial World’s Best Workforce plan. The district later clarified its graduation rate has been between 80 and 84 percent from 2013 to 2017.
