Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) and Westgate Bowl will be hosting Bowling with the Bard, a social event open to the public to celebrate William Shakespeare’s birthday and recognize GRSF volunteers on Wednesday, April 24, at 5 p.m. The event will take place at Westgate Bowl, located at 1429 West Service Drive in Winona, and will include light appetizers, cake, a cash bar and recognition of the Friends of Will (GRSF’s volunteers).
GRSF is looking forward to showing its gratitude for the hard work of the Friends of Will. Shakespeare’s birthday is also one of GRSF’s last pre-season events before company members begin arriving in Winona in early May. By May 15, rehearsals will begin and the season will kick into high gear! To purchase tickets or season passes, visit grsf.org, call 507-474-7900, or stop in the GRSF box office during regular business hours.
Bowlers will have to pay a lane fee, but you do not have to bowl to attend. Please bring your own shoes or rent some there. Contact Eileen Moeller at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 507-474-7900 with any questions.
