• At 5:53 p.m. officers responded to a fight involving multiple people near Seventh Street and Druey Court. Officers initially cited a 19-year-old Winona man but later dropped the charges

• Following a Winona Police Department investigation, the Winona County Attorney’s Office charged Logan Sam McCabe, 23, of Le Center, Minn., with third-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly raping a woman in Winona. The victim reported an alleged date rape that took place at a residence in Winona on October 31 or November 1, 2018. She claimed that McCabe forced himself on her multiple times despite her objections; McCabe denied the allegations, according to the criminal complaint.

• At 4:46 p.m. the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a collision at Highway 14 and Knopp Valley Drive in Winona. A vehicle driven by a 42-year-old Winona man was at a stop sign at the intersection and attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 14 when it collided with a vehicle driven by an 88-year-old Winona man traveling westbound on Highway 14. The 88-year-old Winona man was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Winona Health.

• At 10:57 p.m. the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a crash at Lake Boulevard and Garvin Heights Road in Winona. A Kia Optima driven by a 20-year-old man from Deforest, Wis., was traveling westbound on Lake Boulevard at “excessive speeds” when it struck a Ford pickup driven by a 57-year-old Winona man who was attempting to make a left turn from the stop sign at Garvin Heights Road onto Lake Boulevard. The drivers of both vehicles were treated for non-life threatening injuries at Winona Health.
