Winona Police

Friday, January 3

• At 2:42 p.m. a Winona man reported that someone stole a package from a front porch on the 800 block of Gilmore Avenue.

• At 8:03 p.m. officers ticketed Chase Randall Hawley, 19, of Winona, with trespassing at Walmart.

Saturday, January 4

• At 11:14 a.m. a Winona man reported that the front tire of a vehicle was slashed at some point overnight on the 50 block of East Fourth Street.

• At 1:20 p.m. officers arrested Gusta Garvin Blom, 43, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of felony domestic assault after he allegedly punched a woman and pulled her hair on the 400 block of East Fifth Street.

• At 3:46 p.m. officers ticketed Kristen Serena Vian, 30, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting at Walmart.

Sunday, January 5

• At 8:20 p.m. officers ticketed Efrain Joel Trejo, 41, of Winona, with driving after revocation inimical to public safety on Fourth and Franklin streets.

Monday, January 6

• At 1:05 p.m. a Winona woman reported that a package was stolen off a porch on the 600 block of East Fourth Street.

• At 1:05 p.m. officers arrested Robin Wayne Lilla, 45, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of domestic assault causing fear, domestic assault causing harm and interfering with an emergency phone call on the 600 block of West Fourth Street.

• At 1:15 p.m. a Winona State University employee reported that at some point in late December, someone stole an Xbox 360, Xbox Kinect, and Xbox controller from the Integrated Wellness Center on campus.

• At 5:25 p.m. officers ticketed Brently Steven Johnson, 57, of Winona, with theft and tampering with a motor vehicle on Third and Walnut streets.

Winona County

Saturday, January 4

• At 11:35 a.m. deputies arrested a juvenile female from Winona on a prior warrant and referred her to the county attorney for a potential charge of possession of synthetic cannabinoid and ticketed a juvenile male from Winona with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana. According to the report, deputies observed a vehicle driven by one of the juveniles as it almost struck a curb while turning on Seventh Street and 51st Avenue in Goodview. After pulling over the vehicle, deputies reportedly noticed an odor of marijuana. Deputies also reportedly found a small amount of marijuana and a pipe with residue in the vehicle, as well as a purse containing two grams of marijuana and a container with marijuana wax residue.

Monday, January 6

• At 8:40 p.m. deputies arrested Paul Edward Neyers, 53, of Utica, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of misdemeanor domestic assault and gross-misdemeanor interference with a 911 call. According to the report, Neyers allegedly assaulted someone and disconnected a phone after an argument with them on the 18000 block of Trestle Drive.
