Tuesday, June 30

• At 11:50 a.m. officers received a report that a window AC unit was removed from a window of a vacant residence on the 100 block of East 10th Street.

• At 4:06 p.m. a man reported that his gray and red Trek 820 bicycle was stolen on the 150 block of West Second Street.

Wednesday, July 1

• At 4:50 p.m. officers ticketed a 17-year-old juvenile female from Winona and Jasmine Aaliyah Vera Obanner, 18, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting at Walmart.

• At 8:05 p.m. officers ticketed Craig Ray Hanville, 47, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting at Fleet Farm.

Friday, July 3

• At 8:35 a.m. officers referred Damarlo Marcelle West, 27, of Winona, to the county attorney for potential charges of criminal damage to property and theft at Walmart. West reportedly stole two televisions on July 1 and tried to steal a television on July 3.

• At 10:45 a.m. a man reported that his Nike watch was taken from a vehicle on the 450 block of East Second Street.

• At 1:15 p.m. officers arrested Brently Steven Johnson, 57, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and financial card fraud after he reportedly used a credit card he found in the Target parking lot at Royal Tobacco. Officers found a substance that appeared to be methamphetamine in his bag while questioning him, according to the report.

• At 3:52 p.m. a woman reported that a black 21-speed Schwinn bicycle was stolen on the 70 block of West Second Street.

Saturday, July 4

• At 9:36 a.m. a woman reported that a bottle of honey was poured on the hood of a vehicle on the 1550 block of West Ninth Street.

• At 10:19 a.m. officers received a report that a black Takara mountain bike with yellow tires was stolen. No location was provided to officers.

• At 11:20 a.m. a Coca-Cola Bottling Company employee reported that a window was broken out at the company.

• At 2:06 p.m. a woman reported that a wallet was stolen from a vehicle on July 2 on the 260 block of East Seventh Street.

• At 2:31 p.m. a woman reported that a boombox was stolen from the steps of a residence on the 340 block of Pelter Street.

• At 11:25 p.m. officers cited Ashley Lynn Dzwonkowski, 35, of Winona, with violating an order for protection after she reportedly emailed someone with a no-contact order against her.

Sunday, July 5

• At 7:42 a.m. a woman reported that a Chevy Malibu was stolen on the 350 block of Chatfield Street.

• At 10:46 a.m. a man reported that the hood and windshield of a vehicle were damaged on the 100 block of West Third Street.

• At 3:28 p.m. a man reported that a dent was put in a passenger door of a vehicle and the vehicle’s driver-side mirror was broken on the 550 block of East Third Street.

• At 8:03 p.m. officers ticketed Nicola Renee Garfield, 42, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting at Walmart.

• At 9:34 p.m. a woman reported that a driver-side window of a vehicle was broken out on the 950 block of West Second Street.

Monday, July 6

• At 12:14 p.m. officers ticketed Sarah Rose Davis, 39, of Winona, with trespassing at Walmart.

• At 1:36 p.m. officers arrested Brently Steven Johnson, 57, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of financial card fraud and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance after he allegedly made fraudulent credit card charges at Royal Tobacco and the Sinclair on Mankato Avenue and officers found that he had a substance which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

• At 4:58 p.m. a man reported that a dent had been put in the driver-side quarter panel above the tire of a vehicle on the 100 block of West Third Street.

Wednesday, July 7

• At 3:28 a.m. officers received a report that the tires of a vehicle were slashed on Franklin and Mark streets.

 

Winona County

Thursday, July 2

• At 6:34 p.m. deputies arrested Chelsea Elizabeth Oevering, 32, of Elba, and referred her to the county attorney for a potential charge of violating a harassment restraining order.

Saturday, July 4

• At 7:56 p.m. deputies arrested an 18-year-old Caledonia man on suspicion of fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, obstructing the legal process and possessing liquor while under 21 at the Kwik Trip on Huff and Sarnia streets. Charges are pending blood-test results, according to the report.
