Rowena Schultz, 84, of Arcadia, Wis., passed away Friday, December 26, 2003, at the Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Nursing Home in Arcadia.
She was born March 26, 1919, in Kentucky to Steward and Luella Jane (Burkett) Brown. On March 30, 1936, Rowena married Harold Schultz in Monticello, Kentucky.
Rowena was a member of Tamarack Lutheran Church and, in earlier years, had been employed as an assembly line worker at Arcadia Products.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra (Michael) Raines of Minneapolis, Minn., and Janet Anderson of Herrin, Ill.; 5 sons, Dave and Paul Schultz, both of Arcadia, Leonard Schultz of Trempealeau, Wis., and Ray (Cindi) and Gary Schultz, both of Arcadia; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Lella Alley of Indiana.
Preceding Rowena in death were her parents; her husband, Harold, on February 3, 1997; 8 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2003, at the Tamarack Lutheran Church, rural Arcadia, with Pastor Roger Knudson officiating. Burial was in Arcadia Public Cemetery, Arcadia.
