Aaron G. Pronschinske, 80, of Arcadia, Wis., died Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Arcadia Hospital.
He was born on June 7, 1924, in rural Waumandee, Wis., to Alphonse and Agnes (Semling) Pronschinske. He married Ellen Rohn on June 12, 1946, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Aaron had served on the board of directors of the A-G Co-op Creamery and the Arcadia Co-op. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and Knights of Columbus, and was instrumental in starting the PCA in Arcadia. He was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He farmed in rural Arcadia.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Ellen, of Arcadia; two sons, Daniel (Sharon) Pronschinske and Tim (Margaret) Pronschinske both of Arcadia; two daughters, Diane (Rafael) Herrera of Waterberry, Ct., and Sue Ann (Gary) Kulig of Arcadia; six grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) Hunger, Adam Pronschinske, Andy and Jill Pronschinske, Nicholas and Stefini Kulig; five brothers, Clarence (Rosemary), Quintin (Marian) and Francis (Bernice) all of Arcadia, Cletus (Lois) and Linus (Phyllis) of Independence, Wis.; and three sisters, Lois (William) Klimek-Deeren of Ettrick, Wis., Mary Lou (Linus) Soppa of St. Charles, Minn., and Antonia "Toni" (Aaron) Smieja of Arcadia.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ermina Pronschinske, Dorothy Schaub, and Vera Wozney.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday December 27, at Holy Family Catholic Church-Our Lady of Perpetual Help with the Reverend Michael Klos officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Serving as casketbearers were Andy Pronschinske, Adam Pronschinske, Nicholas Kulig, Gary Pronschinske, Wayne Pronschinske, and Dennis Larson.
Killian Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
