Margie Dahl, 78, of Arcadia, Wis., died Friday, December 24, 2004, as the result of a vehicle accident in Eau Claire, Wis.
She was born February 25, 1926, in the Town of Ettrick, Wis., to Theodore and Hannah (Smikrud) Husmoen. On September 9, 1944, Margie married Ansel Dahl in Blair, Wis. He passed away on December 3, 1995.
Margie had worked as a waitress and a factory assembly line worker. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, and she loved to quilt and dance.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Danny) Hjornevik of Blair and Ramona (Randy) Bartelt of Elk Mound, Wis.; five grandchildren, David Hjornevik, Corey Dahl, Lisa Paulson, Jackie Hjornevik, and Crystal Bartelt; and four great-grandchildren, Brittany Hjornevik, Tyler Paulson, Mackenzie Hjornevik, and Kaitlyn Paulson.
Preceding Margie in death were her husband, two sons, Larry and Arlyn, and special friend, Larry Almos.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia, with Pastor Breck D. McHan officiating. Burial will be in Tamarack Lutheran Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
Friends may call from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the church.
Serving as casketbearers will be Duane Olson, Darwin Peters, Gary Eckman, Bruce Johnson, Duane Loken, and Alan Soppa.
