2015 Cotter High School Show Choir concert


The Cotter High School Show Choir will present its “End of the Year Concert” on Tuesday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Cecilia Theatre on the Cotter Schools campus. This upbeat and fun choral concert will feature the Cotter Show Choir, “Timeless,” a small select group of men; “Divas,” a small select group of women; and other vocal solos and duets. “Timeless” selections will include Beach Boy favorite “I Get Around,” and a ‘60s tune, “Love Potion Number 9.” “Divas” will sing “Songs of a Disney Princess,” a medley including favorite Disney tunes such as “Part of Your World,” “A Whole New World,” “Colors of the Wind,” and more. Show Choir selections will include the pop hit “Happy” featuring Corey Beyer, “Best Day of My Life,” “Empire State of Mind” featuring Mac Whaley, and the Queen rock classic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Also on the program are popular ballad titles such as “Falling Slowly” from the musical “Once,” and “Hallelujah.” Show Choir soloists and duets will sing songs from Broadway shows and contemporary popular tunes as well.

The Cotter Show Choir sings at many Winona and area community events throughout the year. It is an auditioned group of 28 singers. The Cotter Show Choir is under the direction of Cathy Snyder. Mark Roeckers accompanies on piano and Fallon Devine is the choreographer. The concert is open to the public and admission is free. Juice and cookies or bars will be served at a reception in the St. Cecilia Theatre lobby after the concert.
