School referendum rejected with 90% 'no' vote

(11/8/2017)

Voters rejected Winona Area Public Schools’ (WAPS) $145 million facility plan Tuesday. Less than 10 percent of voters said “yes” to the plan which would have renovated and expanded Goodview and W-K, kept Rollingstone open, closed Madison and Jefferson, and funded millions of dollars in repairs and additions at the secondary schools.
