While Winona’s varsity boys basketball teams continue to struggle to find their groove this season, it is the Cotter Lady Ramblers that have defended the city’s reputation on the court. Currently third in the Three Rivers standings, the Cotter girls varsity team continues to stand out, after a 73-56 win against the Southland Rebels on Friday, January 12.
Isabel Northrop (#24) continues to stand at the center of the Cotter offense, holding down territory under the hoop and contributing 17 to Friday’s game, with Jordan Rubie (#20) throwing in 15. Megan Morgan (#11), usually a keystone of the Ramblers’ passing game, found great shooting success on Friday night with a pair of effortless three-pointers.
