Winona Community Foundation gives $10,000 to Every Child’s Dream – Winona

(7/18/2018)

The Winona Community Foundation (WCF) has given $10,000 to Every Child’s Dream — Winona. In this partnership, (WCF) handles the funds received and has served as a very valuable asset in the Lion’s campaign.

The fundraising effort for Every Child’s Dream – Winona, a project dedicated to constructing an all-inclusive playground near the bandshell in Lake Park — is progressing quite well. The goal is to raise the funds to construct a playground in which children of all physical or developmental abilities can play alongside one another. To meet the proposed timeline, additional financial assistance is needed from the community. Remember, a community is judged on how the people in it take care of the less fortunate. No child should be relegated to sit alongside the play area merely to watch as the other children play. The Lions feel that it is every child’s dream to be able to play and interact with their peers. Please, let’s not have any area child sit alone while other children play. All children are asking for your support.

Please send your donations to Every Child’s Dream – Winona, 104 East Fourth Street, Winona, Minn., 55987. Write “Every Child’s Dream” on the memo line of your check.
