From: John Kennedy
She’s a native of Winona and her parents ran a family business that still operates in the second generation.
A college graduate, her roles have been counselor, administrator and now retired principal in public school systems in our region, across 30-plus years. She created a local prevention initiative for adolescents, handled school budgets, and mastered human resource duties and crisis intervention. She raised her children in public schools and is watching her grandchildren go through them.
It has been my joy and privilege to know her, serve in volunteer roles with her, and watch her grow, adapt, grieve and excel in her work, family and community. Her passion for the next generations leads her to serve in an at-large position on the WAPS School Board. I frankly can’t think of a person more qualified, personally and professionally, than Nancy Denzer. I strongly encourage your vote for her, both in the upcoming primary in August (especially) and election in November.
