Treedome Productions is a music and arts production studio in Winona. Founded in September 2016, Treedome started as a group of friends seeking an outlet for creative ideas with a passion for music. As a small team, they set out to create a media group and community arts organization, moving from the back of a record shop to creating a warm studio space in downtown Winona after receiving the first Winona State University Innovate Challenge Award. On any day, they’re busy booking shows at favorite spots in Southeast Minnesota, making music videos, recording tracks, snapping photos, running the storefront, and hosting community events. Their identity hinges on collaboration, outreach, and dedication to creating quality work.
This month’s schmooze will be at Treedome Studios, 164 East Third Street, in Winona. Members of Treedome will talk about who they are, why they started Treedome, the kind of work they have done and are currently working on, and the importance of collaborating across mediums and building a local scene.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for light refreshments and socializing. The program will be from 6-7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Vicki Englich at firstname.lastname@example.org.
