WNB Financial is pleased to announce that David Hoover has joined the bank’s wealth management division as vice president and senior wealth advisor.

In his new role, Hoover will work with individuals, business owners, trusts, and foundations to help accomplish immediate and long-term financial goals, including retirement planning, business succession, estate planning, and educational planning. He spent the last six years as a private client advisor with Charles Schwab in Denver, Colo., helping high net worth individuals with their investment and financial planning needs.

“David’s financial planning and investment experience make for a great addition to our wealth management team,” said Ellen Smith, senior vice president and chief wealth management officer. “His expertise, combined with our entire wealth management team, truly allows for WNB to be more than a bank, providing solutions and trusted financial advice.”

“I’m excited to join the team at WNB Financial and its talented group within the wealth management division,” Hoover said. “My family and I are looking forward to growing our relationships within the Winona region as we get settled into the area. It’s great to be a part of an institution with such a long and storied history within the community.”

Hoover is a native of Elk Mound, Wis., and earned his degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout. He also holds the title of certified financial planner. He and his wife, Lynsey, recently relocated to Winona from Littleton, Colo., with their children Sawyer, Finn, and Meadow. The family enjoys all things outdoors, especially fishing, hiking, and skiing.

The WNB Financial wealth management division is located at its historic downtown office, 204 Main Street, in Winona. Call 507-454-8800 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
