Harvest House will meet on Wednesday, March 20, in the basement of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Mass will be at 1 p.m. The business meeting will follow mass. The Hiawatha Valley Education District Board of Directors meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. The board of directors conducts the public board meeting in the Board of Directors Conference Room, located at Hiawatha Valley Education District office, 1410 Bundy Boulevard in Winona. The 2019 board of directors public meeting dates are March 27, April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, and September 25. The October, November, and December board of directors meetings will meet the following dates due to conflicting dates: Wednesday, October 30; Monday, November 25; and Wednesday, December 18.

The Minnesota City Community Readers will meet on Thursday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. at city hall, 149 Mill Street in Minnesota City. The book being discussed is “Pope Joan” by Donna Woolfolk Cross. All readers are invited whether or not you have read the book. The next book selection is “A Hero of our Time” by Mikhail Lermontov and this book will be discussed at the meeting on April 25.

A trauma survivors support group will meet at 10 a.m. on the third Saturday of every month to discuss how to move forward and grow out of post-traumatic stress. This group will use trauma-informed techniques to help individuals in their recovery. Due to the nature topics, anyone under 18 should bring a caregiver with them to the group. Meetings for the Bluff Country chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association are held at the Witoka Tavern at 7:30 on every third Thursday of the month, except June and July. Newcomers are welcome.

The Widowed Persons Social Group has cancelled their dinner meetings indefinitely, but will still be meeting every Tuesday morning for breakfast at 7:30 at Hy-Vee. Color Me Calm meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 5-7 p.m. in the library’s Bell Art Room.
