Calling all visual artists working creatively in printmaking: Lanesboro Arts is inviting artists to submit an application for inclusion in the upcoming Under Pressure exhibition, a juried group show that will run from June 22 to August 11. Artists working in a variety of printmaking techniques are welcome to apply.
The deadline for entries is May 1, 2019. To be considered, artists may email photos of one to five entries that are primarily composed of (but not limited to) printmaking mediums of woodcut, linocut, collagraph, silkscreen, engraving, monotype, and lithography.
Images emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Under Pressure” in the subject line should include the following information for each entry: title, medium, size, dimensions, and retail price. Artists should also submit their mailing address, phone number, website and artist statement. Entries are also accepted via the postal service. Mail a CD or flash drive with high-resolution digital images and a hard-copy list of the information for each item to Lanesboro Arts, PO Box 152, Lanesboro, Minn., 55949.
Please contact Robbie Brokken, gallery director, with any questions or requests for additional information at 507-467-2446, extension two, or email@example.com.
Artwork accepted for Under Pressure must be delivered to Lanesboro Arts by 4 p.m. on Monday, June 17, with the title and artist name clearly marked. Participating artists are invited to be in attendance at the opening reception on Saturday, June 22, from 6-8 p.m. Following the exhibit, work will need to be picked up from the gallery by Tuesday, August 13.
