A Wyoming, Minn., man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, September 7, according to the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department.
Police were called to Highway 95 near Baures Road at about 6:15 p.m. According to the report, Troy Armistead, 51, was traveling with a group of other motorcyclists when he attempted to catch up with the group ahead of him and was unable to negotiate a curve. He left the roadway, hit a ditch and then a field road, which cause his motorcycle to go airborne. He was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.
