From: Chris and Ruth Roffler
In the early evening on Saturday, November 23, my husband Chris suffered a sudden episode of shortness of breath that turned quickly into struggling to breathe at all. Chris is alive today because of the quick and professional care he received from the fire department and Winona Ambulance first responders. Once at the Winona Health emergency room, the doctors and nurses worked as a team to keep Chris breathing and stabilized while he waited for the Gundersen helicopter from La Crosse to arrive.
Winona is fortunate to have these emergency room doctors, nurses, and first responders who come to the rescue within minutes of dialing 911. Thanks to the Winona Police, who also responded.
I am happy to report that Chris is home and doing well. Thanks to all of you, and God bless.
