Following a traffic stop and a search warrant, narcotics with a value of around $26,000 were seized on January 9 in Galesville, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the report, a deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Kenneth W. Caldwell, 33, of Galesville, on Highway 53 at Arneson Ridge Road. During the stop, a police K-9 reportedly alerted to the presence of drugs. Following a search of the vehicle, Caldwell was reportedly arrested on potential charges of possession of methamphetamine.
Further investigation led officers to Caldwell’s residence, according to the report, where a search warrant yielded 65 grams of heroin and 4.3 grams of methamphetamine, with a street value of $26,000.
Caldwell is being held at the Trempealeau County Jail with reported added violations of possession with the intent to deliver narcotics and maintaining a drug trafficking place. According to the report, other arrests may be pending.
