A cappella group to perform at WAC
The Winona Arts Center is pleased to present an a cappella concert by the Johnson Street Underground on Saturday, March 14, at 7 p.m.
JSU formed in January 2018 and has performed in and around Winona over the last 18 months or so — singing at a few local establishments and for private events as well as opening for a national act at WSU in September 2019. Formed with the love of tight a cappella harmonies, their song list ranges from covers by Sting and Johnny Cash to Mumford & Sons, Green Day, Billy Joel, and more. Members are Seth Flatten, Matt Schultz, John Chernega, and Charlie Opatz — all living and working in Winona.
Tickets prices are $10 in advance for adults and $12 at the door. They are $5 for anyone under 18. Tickets are available at Hardt’s Music in Winona. Tickets may be purchased online at EventBrite.com. Reservations are suggested. All ticket sales are final. The Winona Arts Center is located at 228 East fifth Street in Winona; the phone number is 507-453-9959. Doors open 30 minutes before the concert.
