On Saturday, February 29, 2020, Ridgeway Community School will held its third annual Southeastern Minnesota Youth Archery Tournament. Almost 50 fourth graders to high school students from seven different Southeast Minnesota schools gathered in four different waves between 1 and 4 p.m. to participate in a youth archery tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Ridgeway Community School, with the support of the Bluff Country Deer Hunters Association. The tournament consisted of four different waves of 12 archers shooting at both a 10- and 15-meter distance. The archers were scored using the National Archery in the School’s Program scoring system, following three rounds of five arrows at both of the distances. Awards were given to the top three male and female archers in the elementary and middle school age groups, as well as the top high school archer.
