The Winona Post provides lots of space for religious writers. Their views come in many forms. There are those, among them Congressman Jim Hagedorn, who deny people made climate change and believe that the earth is the providence of a determinant God who will take care of that kind of problem. Is this a philosophy of us testing God or does God test us?
Working in that framework, we’ve got a worldwide virus that has shut down a lot of carbon commerce. Can we use this pause to begin a new normal, or will we just turn up the throttle to make up for lost time and not have enough faith to change habits? Do you suppose the divine inflicts a personal touch on someone to hobble their actions? Depends on what you believe. The Vernal Equinox is a great time for free-range eggs.
