Puppets take the stage for ‘A Christmas Carol’

(12/14/2016)

Fun for the whole family!

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season local puppeteer Dr. Bob Armstrong will present five performances of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” using handcrafted marionettes/puppets from his own workshop and a new puppet stage built just for the occasion. Dr. Bob will be working with another local puppeteer to bring you the classic holiday tale of Scrooge, Fezziwig, Jacob Marley, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and those Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come.

Performances are free; however, as always Mid West Music Store and Dr. Bob invite you to bring a free-will donation for the performers.

Hot chocolate and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Performances will be on Wednesday, December 14, at 7 p.m.; Thursday, December 15, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and on Friday, December 16, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Performances are for all ages and are kid-friendly. Mid West Music Store is located at 168 East Third Street in Winona. Check out more events at facebook.com/midwestmusicstore.
