Are you interested in honing your creative writing skills? River Arts Alliance is sponsoring the River Arts Writer’s Workshop on Saturday, April 8, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at Winona State University. There are four sessions: creative nonfiction with professor Debra Cumberland, fiction with local novelist Kathy Peterson, poetry with Winona Poet Laureate Ken McCullough, and playwriting with professor Judy Myers. Participants will be able to choose two of the four sessions.
Visit riverartsalliance.org/writers-workshop/ for more information and to register. Workshop fees are $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Students may register for free. For the benefit of the participants, class sizes are limited to 25. Enroll early to ensure that space is available. This event is made possible from a generous donation from the Great River Review.
