Live music blitz at Broken World Records this weekend

Join Broken World Records this weekend, April 28-29, in welcoming spring with a blitz of live music featuring 10-plus bands and over 10 hours of music.

It starts out on Friday night at 6 p.m. with Winona-based band the Clams, then Rochester’s Arch Funk, followed by international touring musician duo Brothers Burn Mountain.

The night will be headlined by the high-energy bluegrass band Evergreen Grass Band from Eau Claire. The Evergreen Grass Band has played the Minnesota State Fair and is a staple among many regional music festivals.

Saturday night’s music starts at 7:30 p.m. and features Minneapolis-based musician Carnage the Executioner and the United Slaves. This will be his first performance in Winona with a full band. Carnage the Executioner has been a renown performing artist for over 20 years and was voted number eight in City Pages Top 20 Minnesota rappers.

Supporting acts on Saturday include Mishishu, R.M., Katana Da Don, and Bowdizz. For more details visit Broken World Record’s facebook page.
