Join Broken World Records this weekend, April 28-29, in welcoming spring with a blitz of live music featuring 10-plus bands and over 10 hours of music.
It starts out on Friday night at 6 p.m. with Winona-based band the Clams, then Rochester’s Arch Funk, followed by international touring musician duo Brothers Burn Mountain.
The night will be headlined by the high-energy bluegrass band Evergreen Grass Band from Eau Claire. The Evergreen Grass Band has played the Minnesota State Fair and is a staple among many regional music festivals.
Saturday night’s music starts at 7:30 p.m. and features Minneapolis-based musician Carnage the Executioner and the United Slaves. This will be his first performance in Winona with a full band. Carnage the Executioner has been a renown performing artist for over 20 years and was voted number eight in City Pages Top 20 Minnesota rappers.
