Solomon’s Song and Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center teamed up to create a variety of mental health awareness events for the month of May. The final event, We Are More Alike Than Different: Unite Winona, will take place on Saturday, May 27, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Winona Farmers Market
This will be an interactive art activity where participants will string yarn on pegs labeled with a different identifier that matches their identity. As each participant strings the yarn on the different pegs it will eventually create the web that from a distance shows how unified we really are and that we have something in common with every other human being.
