Kinstone will host its fifth annual open house on Sunday, October 1, from noon to 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, with live music on the porch and delicious food available for purchase from the Kinstone Kitchen food truck. The labyrinth, chapel, stone circle, dolmen and other features will be open and available for exploration throughout the day. Visit the latest building, The Dragon’s Keep, and see if you can spy 19 dragons in the walls. See the goats, chickens, ducks and goose! Make a point to check out the growing food forest, cob oven, solar dehydrator, composting system, aquaponics system, natural buildings and more. Two 30-minute guided tours will be offered, one at 1 p.m. and one at 3:15 p.m. Enjoy live music by The Bus Boys at noon and James Grant at 3 p.m. No registration is required. Wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the weather; the event will be held rain or shine and is family friendly. No pets are allowed.
