The Winona County Historical Society’s History on the River educational cruises are wrapping up another great season! Join in the fun out on the river aboard the Winona Tour Boat this coming Thursday for the last cruise of the series for the season. The cruise is 90 minutes long with a program, sightseeing time, and refreshments are included.
This last tour will be on Thursday, September 28, at 5:50 p.m.: The Lock and Dam Adventure! Learn more about the Lock and Dam system, and, if able, attendees will go through the lock process at 5A.
Tickets are sold in advance at the History Center or by calling 507-454-2723, extension zero. Tickets are $27 for non-members and $22 for WCHS members. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to the listed departure time. Parking is available near the Levee off Johnson Street and Walnut Street as well as on Cal Fremling Drive.
