The Winona Arts Center presents a rescheduled gallery talk by Ellen Kolbo-McDonah on Friday, February 16, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The gallery talk is in conjunction with her exhibit: “One Woman’s River; Inspiration on the Mississippi.” The works are on exhibit at the Arts Center through February 28. In 2014, Kolbo-McDonah celebrated her 60th birthday in the headwater marshes after 107 days paddling a 14.5-foot kayak. The purpose of the trip was to create adventurism art and capture inspiration for a body of work to be produced upon her return. Through her color paintings and sketches in this exhibit. Kolbo-McDonah will discuss her artwork and her illustrated book titled “One Woman’s River.” Gallery hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. on Fridays from 3-6 p.m. The Winona Arts Center is located at 228 East Fifth Street.
