The concert by the John Paulson Big Band and the Rushford-Peterson High School jazz band originally slated for February 19t has been postponed. Plans are to move the date to next fall. The concert and the accompanying artist residency are made possible by a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts council in Rochester. It has agreed to extend the funds to a later date. The grant allows JPBB members John Paulson, Rich MacDonald and Adam Meckler to work with Rushford-Peterson music students prior to their combined performance in the high school’s spectacular new theater. Watch for the date and more information at www.paulsonjazz.com or the high school’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/rushfordpetersonschools/.
