Explore the purpose and value of public art on Wednesday, May 30, at Ed’s (no name) Bar, 252 East Third Street, Winona. Emily Kurash, coordinator of the Winona Main Street Program, will discuss its new initiative, Artists on Main Street, and what they hope will result from the support it receives from the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota in partnership with Springboard for the Arts and the Bush Foundation. Julia Crozier will also discuss her experience coordinating a number of public art projects in Winona.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for light refreshments and networking. The program begins at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Vicki Englich at email@example.com.
The River Arts Alliance Art (RAA) Schmooze is a free bi-monthly event featuring special programs and social time for RAA members and the community.
