Autumn Schacherl, an alumnus of G-E-T High School and the acapella group Vocal Point will present a concert, “Life Is a Cabaret,” on August 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Old Main in Galesville. Schacherl recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, and she will pursue graduate work in music. Her accompanist — a former UW-Eau Claire classmate of Autumn’s — will be Nathan Cicero, who holds a Master’s degree from Peabody University in Baltimore. Schacherl will be singing popular show tunes and will welcome former G-E-T music teacher Deb Welander and current G-E-T music teacher Kyra Moak to join her for a few duets!
Tickets will be available at the door and cost $10 for adults, $5 for college students, and are free for high school students and younger.
Come see this summer performance of a young woman, known locally as a vocal star in her high school years, transitioning toward a professional music career.
