The Winona Arts Center (WAC) is excited to announce watercolor 101, a class for those with little or no experience with watercolor, or anyone who wants a refresher course. The focus will be on learning basic skills and exploring ways to use them. Led by Diane Crane, this class will be held on Tuesdays, October 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 6:15-8:15 p.m. at the Winona Arts Center, 228 East Fifth Street.
Crane has been working with watercolor for a long time and has taught many workshops, classes at venues including at Viterbo University for 25 years. This is a rare opportunity to have instruction from an accomplished local painter.
The class fee is $75 for WAC members and $80 for non-members. Non-members are welcome to become Winona Arts Center members.
Basic supplies will cost about $25; students are welcome to use whatever materials they already have and waive material fees. Check with the instructor in advance about materials.
This class is for adults or older teens. Register by Tuesday, September 25, if you elect to be included in the group order of basic materials. Registration will be accepted until the class is full or the first day of class. Register by calling Diane at 507-864-7585 or by emailing email@example.com.
