Deep Track performs at Old Main in Galesville

Deep Track (Greg Grokowsky on guitar and Lisa Freedlund on keys) is a duo based in La Crosse, Wis., specializing in lesser-known tracks of rock music from the ‘50s to the ‘80s. It is a project dedicated to playing all that is good with rock and roll — songs you know and some songs you don’t. The rock and roll gods smiled down upon Grokowsky and Freedlund to bring them together to dig deep for great songs that deserve to be performed live for you! They both provide the vocals, including great harmonies. For this very special program taking place on Sunday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m., Grokowsky and Freedlund are adding some Christmas songs to the mix!

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for college students; people in high school and younger are free. Everyone is welcome. Complimentary refreshments are served at intermission in the second floor gallery, where you can enjoy delightful drawings and paintings by Trempealeau artist, Dianne Van Eijl.

“Join us for a night of tasteful music from the ‘50s to the‘80s including some Deep Track holiday favorites. We are excited to play music in this historic hall!” exclaimed Grokowsky.

To find Old Main turn south from Ridge Avenue at 12th Street, then take a right on College Avenue. The stone building is lighted; new Old Main street signs are up.
