The Winona Middle School Drama Club will give a public showing of a twist on Shakespeare’s classic, “Romeo and Juliet,” which tells the story of what happens when Juliet must decide between her love of Romeo and her love of her family. In this retelling the star-crossed lovers are having some very supernatural problems: of the two feuding houses, one are zombies and the other zombie hunters.
This production will leave the audience laughing and Shakespeare “rolling in his grave.”
Tickets are available via the after school activities office at Winona Middle School, or at the door at the Winona Middle School auditorium. Public shows are on March 29 at 7 p.m. and March 30 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10, and concessions will be available.
