Theatre du Mississippi announces 2019-20 season

(5/29/2019)

Theatre du Mississippi (TdM) is proud to announce its upcoming 2019-2020 season. With a selection of shows that are sure to entertain, organizers invite you to a night of theater.

‘3 Sisters,’ an American Adaptation
September 20-22, 27-29

A year after the death of their father, an army officer, three New York-bred sisters are finding life drab and increasingly hopeless in a rural Minnesota town on the frontier prairie. Only the proximity of a nearby Army post and the company of its officers make their existence bearable. Chekov’s iconic story has been reimagined, bringing his story from the steppes of Tsarist Russia to the prairie of post-Indian Wars America.

A Night of Horror
October 25 at the Winona Public Library

In partnership with the Winona Public Library join in for a night of spooky readings of some of Edgar Allen Poe’s most treasured stories of horror.

Christmas Radio Show
December 13-15

In what has become a Winona tradition, join in this Christmas season for this year’s story of hope and inspiration as TdM brings the magic of Christmas to life.

Short and Sweet
February 13-16

Tired of the same old rom-coms at the cinema? Want a date night this Valentine’s Day that will show your date your sophistication and worldliness? Then join in for three short stories exploring the very things that draw people to Valentine’s Day.

Original Shorts
May 15-17

Winter is over and spring is in full swing. Get out of the house and join TdM as it presents a collection of stories created by local Winona storytellers strictly for your enjoyment.

Show locations and ticket prices to be announced on our website (www.TheatreduMiss.org) as details become available.
