The 17th annual Alma Music and Arts Festival will take place this year on September 1, the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The festival is free and open to the public; free parking is available on site.
The event is located on one of the most spectacular spots on the Mississippi River, Beach Harbor Road, just off The Great River Road (Highway 35), one mile north of Alma.
Along with great food and original art, Festival goers will be entertained from 11 a.m. till sundown by the music of Patchouli, The High 48’s, Left Wing Bourbon, and 4 Pints Shy.
Carry-in alcoholic beverages will be allowed in. Please bring your own lawn chair or beach blanket — under-tent, in-shade seating available. Artist and food booths are set to dot the riverside park. Face painting and crafts annually entertain children, along with the beach and playground equipment. Join for a fun afternoon of entertainment, shopping, eating and relaxation.
