Blue Heron to host garden-inspired photography exhibit

Anna VanDemark grew up in a family of artists and trained as a classical painter at Atelier Lack, Minneapolis, Minn. She has worked in a variety of mediums over the years garnering awards at national exhibitions, but it is with digital photography that VanDemark has found the perfect medium to capture life’s fleeting moments and nature’s wondrous details.

The Blue Heron Coffeehouse, 162 West Second Street in Winona, will be hosting an exhibition of VanDemark’s garden-inspired photography, “bella flora!” The opening will be on September 6 from 5-7 p.m., and the exhibition will be on display through November 4.
