The Winona Film Society presents “Ulysses and Mona” on January 17 at 7 p.m., at the Winona Arts Center, 228 East Fifth Street. Ulysses is a 55-year-old artist who ran away from his family and ended his career four years earlier. Mona is a 20-year-old art student who is bored with theory and drawing classes. Everything changes when she meets Ulysses and, after some misfortune, both set out on a journey that will change their lives forever. Directed by Sebastien Betbeder, the film is presented in French with English subtitles, and runs 82 minutes. Admission is $5 at the door or by donation.
