Winona Noon Lions serve Christmas Dinner

Early on Christmas morning, Noon Lion Darrell Monson arrived at Wesley United Methodist Church to begin preparing the meal for approximately 200 people who otherwise would be alone on Christmas. As the morning rolled on more Noon Lions, as well as other Lions and friends arrived to begin arranging and setting tables for the festive meal. The church’s dining hall was soon filled with laughter and conversation, as old friends reunited and new friendships were formed. There are generally many regular attendees whose families live far away. However, each year, there are new guests that join in the festivities. Christmas season is a busy time for the Noon Lions. It is the club’s way to say members wish everyone happiness and peace throughout this season and the year to come.
