Winona Municipal Band’s first summer concert

The Winona Municipal Band is holding a performance on July 22 at 8 p.m. This will be a new format for the band and audience members to provide live music in a safe and responsible manner! The band will be smaller and include some small group performances by sections or members of the Municipal Band!  

The program will include “The Star Spangled Banner,” and “Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days of Summer.”

COVID precautions

•    Those with COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.

•    Band members will perform while spaced at least six feet apart from each other.

•    Audience members are expected to maintain proper social distancing and wear masks.

•    Half of the benches at the bandshell will not be available.

•    Audience members who bring their own chairs will be expected to set up in locations at least six feet away from other attendees.

 

If you intend to listen from within your car

•    Those with COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.

•    Each household should be in a separate car; carpooling does not comply with social distancing.

•    Attendees must remain in the vehicles in which they arrived.

•    If attendees are in cars with the windows up for the entirety of the ceremony, cars may park immediately adjacent to one another.

•    If attendees are in cars with windows down, cars should park six feet apart.

Signs with these instructions will be posted at the bandshell and announcements will be made prior to the performance.
