Neighbors and community members are invited to a gathering on Tuesday, January 22, from 5-6 p.m. at Winona City Hall to be have a chance to comment on the report and have their comments added to the final report. City staff will also present details on the timeline and plans for its process of working with the new Central owner on redevelopment plans.
Those who cannot attend are encouraged to provide comments by visiting bit.ly/centralreportcomments anytime on or before Friday, January 25.
As with the previous gathering, this event is focused on connecting with neighborhood residents — everyone who lives near Central is especially invited — but the event open to the general community.
Meanwhile, the final report, gathering community input for the future use of Madison Elementary, has been released. It is available online at engagewinona.org and at cityofwinona.com.
